Tracy Island, the secret base of International Rescue, is brought to life in this "soundtech" replica. With its cliff-top venue, hiding the Thunderbird vehicles beneath a swimming pool that slides away and a secret hanger with a launch pad lined with palm trees that fall to one side when Thunderbirds 2 is ready for launch, children will soon discover the endless possibilities for the Thunderbirds crew as they fight evil and save lives in the danger zones of the world.
A panel tucked away at the back of the island reveals the faces of the main Thunderbirds characters--Lady Penelope, Brains, Scott, Alan, Gordon and Virgil--with a key pad to press to hear a selection of 12 of the most famous Thunderbirds phrases, including the particularly spectacular "Stand by for blast off" with a loud, crackling blast off sound that beats the rest hands down.
Tracy Island comes complete with stickers, which bring the otherwise rather plasticky effect of the Island to life, and with the addition of the Thunderbirds vehicles will give fans endless scope to let their imaginations run wild: Thunderbirds are well and truly go.
