PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Little children just love to copy adults around them, and with My Vacuum Cleaner, there's more than ample opportunity. Perfect for role-play, this is a cylinder vacuum cleaner that is just the right size for toddlers to pull along behind daddy, mummy or any other adult unfortunate enough to get landed with the vacuuming.
My Vacuum Cleaner is very easy to assemble: the 4 x "C" 1.5v batteries (not included) fit into a cavity on the base which requires a screwdriver to open and close. The hose fits neatly into the hole at one end of the cylinder, then the two tubular extensions clip easily in to form the 30 cm nozzle, complete with chunky handle, and the head adds the finishing touch of reality. Just press the "on" switch (large writing and chunky plastic switches are perfect for little fingers) and you're ready to go. The vacuum, though not exactly a Dyson, has suction and will easily pick up the white polystyrene balls included. The clear plastic tubes allow little cleaners to watch the progress of their work and, very modern in design, this "no bag" vacuum has a see-through cavity that collects debris. Just one word of warning: over-enthusiastic emptying of the vacuum w ill lead to it being used again rather sooner than expected.
A realistic whirring noise and a compact handle make this every bit as good as mummy's or daddy's vacuum, and (one of the best features) the chunky "off" switch, also clearly labelled in big writing, is a welcome relief at the end of a long, hard day of cleaning. The vacuum cleaner is then easily unassembled for tidy storage in the toy box. Not suitable for children under three years, as the small parts may pose a choking hazard.
