PRODUCT DESCRIPTION A Ride with Orbix would be an excellent introduction to adventure games for young children. While racing with his friend, Orbix crashes onto earth. Children have to help Orbix collect the parts of his spaceship so that he can zap them back to the space garage and then return to space on his mended craft.
Children have to help Orbix choose the most appropriate method of transport to travel over mountains, across the sea and a lake, through a town, up a winding path, through a desert and across a plain to collect the pieces of the spaceship. Children can also opt to learn more about the different types of transport, which is very informative.
Children are given clear instructions about how to operate each type of transport in order to help Orbix collect the missing pieces of his spaceship. This CD-ROM would be an excellent introduction for children to learn how to steer and stop and to start and follow simple instructions.
